Cookie policy

This policy explains what information amer-work.com stores on your device and how you can control it. Storing information on a device and gaining access to it requires consent, unless it is necessary to provide the service you asked for - which is the case for everything listed in section 1. The analytics cookies in section 2 are set only with your consent.

1. What we store without consent

• amer_language (local storage) - remembers the language version you chose; until you clear the site data.
• amer_tg_hint (session storage) - the one-off messenger contact hint; until you close the tab.
• amer_consent_analytics (local storage) - remembers your choice about analytics cookies, so the banner does not appear on every visit; until you clear the site data.
• amer_admin_token and amer_admin_token_expiry (session storage) - keeps an administrator signed in to the admin panel, staff only; until sign-out or the tab is closed.

These are entries in browser storage rather than classic cookies, but the law treats both the same way. None of them identifies you and none is passed on to anyone else.

2. Analytics cookies - only with consent

If you click “Accept” in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. It tells us which pages are visited, where visitors come from, which devices they use and how many forms were sent. Without consent the Google Analytics script does not load and your browser does not connect to Google for this purpose.

• _ga (cookie) - a random identifier that distinguishes browsers; 2 years.
• _ga_L29V50J2SM (cookie) - keeps the session state; 2 years.

Sending the contact form or an application with a CV is recorded as an event - without the content of the form and without the details you enter in it. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; they are used only to determine an approximate location (country, city). Google signals and advertising features are switched off, and data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use no marketing cookies or advertising pixels and we do not build visitor profiles.

3. Third parties

A Google Maps map is shown on the Contact and About us pages. Your browser connects to Google servers, which may set their own cookies and gain access to your IP address. On any other page the map does not load. Typefaces come from Google Fonts - no cookies, but your IP address is passed on. 4. How to manage it

You can change or withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time with the “Cookie settings” button in the page footer - after withdrawal we delete the _ga cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Cookies and site data can also be controlled in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge - the privacy section): you can block third-party cookies, delete site data or browse in private mode. Clearing the data also removes the language you chose and your cookie choice, and blocking embedded content means the map will not be displayed - our office address stays available as text.
